NDIS ECEI Funding & Inclusions

ECEI is part of the NDIS and is available for children under 7 years with developmental delay or disability. Children do not need a formal diagnosis to access supports under ECEI.

Q1: What is Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI)?

ECEI is an NDIS approach to support children under 9 with developmental delay or disability. It focuses on early support to give children the best start in life and reduce the need for long-term support.

Q2: Does my child need a diagnosis to access ECEI?

No. Children under 6 can access early intervention without a formal diagnosis if there are concerns about their development. From age 6 onwards, a diagnosed disability is generally required to continue receiving NDIS supports.

Q3: What types of therapy are available through ECEI?

Our services include OT, Speech Therapy, and Physio – all tailored to your child’s needs.

Q4: How do I know if my child is eligible?

Children under 7 with developmental concerns may be eligible. We can help guide you through the eligibility and referral process.
